Back to the Forum Archives The other silliness is they are interrogating him. They think he will tell them the truth. What he will do is lead them around by the nose. Here we go again, down the primrose path. We will have more orange alerts, maybe even a red one based on the answers this guy gives. Our Keystone Cop law agencies would be funny if we were not in such awesome danger. When I first hear of this capture on TV news, I did not know how to spell his name. They flashed it on the screen several times, but never long enough to make sure. To make sure of the spelling, I decided to Ask Jeeves. That is an internet search engine that I rather like. When I misspell a word in a search it does not return an unable to find screen. Instead, it comes back with something close and asks, "Did you mean whatever'?" I like that. So I asked Jeeves about this captured guy and was lead to a page in the FBI's wanted list. Sure enough there was this wanted poster on Khalid Shaikh Mohammed. It was stamped located. On thing that stunned me is the reward they had offered for this guy. The going rate for terrorists seems to be 25 million. I wonder if the mafia knows about this. That's good business for them. As long as I was at the FBI site, I decided to browse around and see who else is on their list. That is definitely a list you do not want to be on. There was a link on the page called Most Wanted Terrorists. I clicked on that and it got me to a page with photos of 22 rather ugly guys. The names are real tongue twisters for a Westerner like me. Here are just two, Abdelkarim Hussein Mohamed Al-Nasser and Imad Fayez Mugniyah. Of course, Usama Bin Laden was on the top of the list. There was also some text about the list. Here it is. The alleged terrorists on this list have been indicted by sitting Federal Grand Juries in various jurisdictions in the United States for the crimes reflected on their wanted posters. Evidence was gathered and presented to the Grand Juries, which led to their being charged. The indictments currently listed on the posters allow them to be arrested and brought to justice. Future indictments may be handed down as various investigations proceed in connection to other terrorist incidents, for example, the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. It is also important to note that these individuals will remain wanted in connection with their alleged crimes until such time as the charges are dropped or when credible physical evidence is obtained, which proves with 100% accuracy, that they are deceased. When you click on one of the photos it takes you to that guys wanted poster. There is also a link on the main page for submitting a tip. If you would like to do that or want more information on these guys, here is the link. http://www.fbi.gov/mostwant/terrorists/fugitives.htm The other link I found is a link to a links page. There was also a blurb on the top guy of the Top Ten Most Wanted list. He is James "Whitey" Bulger. He is a real bad-un. Here is his sheet. A sighting of James Bulger in the United Kingdom has generated a massive manhunt for this eight year fugitive. James Bulger is sought for his role in the numerous murders committed from the early 1970s through the mid-1980s in connection with his leadership of an organized crime group in Boston, Massachusetts. In 1995, Bulger was subject to an indictment by a federal grand jury for federal racketeering charges. There is currently a $1 million reward for information leading directly to his arrest. Then I followed the link to the page of Top Ten Fugitives. Most of these are ordinary criminals rather than terrorists. They are the ten most wanted fugitives from American Justice. These names are a little easier on the tongue. Here are two, Donald Eugene Webb and Hopeton Eric Brown. This list goes way back. Since it's inception, more that 440 Top Tenners have been apprehended or located. So far as I can tell, located is a euphemism for dead. Of course, Usama Bin Laden is on this list too. Except for Bin Laden, these guys don't rate such high rewards. Here is the basic information. The FBI is offering rewards for information leading to the
apprehension of Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitives. Check each fugitive
page for the specific amount. What that says is use this list if you want, but don't mess
with it. Take a visit to this site if you have time. It is very
interesting.
