Ever since the UN was put together after WWII, the United States government has abdicated its responsibility. Instead of doing what we ought to do as we used to, we go to the UN and babble about what they ought to do. What nonsense. We should reestablish the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and take the lead of the civilized world again. When something needs to be done, we should go ahead and do it instead of telling a room full of rabble they ought to do it.

The United Nations is not, never has been, and never will be viable. Most of the members are not qualified for membership in a civilized organization. They are mostly savages and demonstrate it regularly. If we really need an organization of states, let it grow out of NATO. That’s bottom up, the way things should be built. Top down is the wrong way to build anything, be it an army, an organization, or a house. The right way is to start with a small core or base that you can make work and build it up gradually.

We should also build up the American military capacity. We have too few people spread too thin. Our kids have become sitting ducks. We need at least a million people trained and ready to go. Regardless of the babbling rhetoric of the mad king, we should realize we really are at war. The UN cannot fight that war for us, even if they were willing. This is a war bigger than WWII. It is a war of the civilized world against primitive religious savages. Too many of those savages are represented in the UN General Assembly. How in the world can that help us?

So let’s quit the UN, take back the New York real estate we gave them, and throw the raggedy rabble out. Let’s reaffirm NATO and make a nice head quarters for it in the UN Buildings. Let us quit pussyfooting, build up an army, and take the fight to everyone who acts against us in any way. Let’s quit messing around in Iraq. Let’s withdraw and wait on the horizon. Nothing good can come of our further involvement in what amounts to a civil war.

The fools in our government keep babbling about the budding democracy in Iraq. That is ridiculous. There is no democracy in Iraq and there will not be a democracy in the near future. There are too many factions there who hate each other even more than they hate us. Those people are savages and we ought to get out of their way. The more of them get killed in their civil war the fewer we will have to deal with when they are unified.

What we should be doing in Iraq and the entire world is to give intellectual and financial support to the woman’s movement. In the Middle East, women and children are the most oppressed of all people. That cannot last, because they have seen what is possible. They will become powerful on their own, but we could help them. Eventually, they will break the power of the Middle Eastern Mullahs just as they are breaking the power of the fundamentalist church in America.

It will probably not be America that will break the power of the madmen in the Middle East. Even of we had an army it would not be a sure thing. Of course, we don’t have an army because our president was too stupid to start building one on 9-11. He had a golden opportunity and he let is slip away. I cannot imagine FDR loosing the moment like that. If he had, we might all be speaking German now. As it is, if we don’t get an effective government damn soon, we may all have to profess Islam.

I would rather have it go the other way. When push comes to shove, I would rather annihilate all Muslims than have my granddaughters oppressed as the Arab women are. If we must have a holy war, let’s win it. Let’s field an army to defend America and let’s also support women’s rights in Arab Land.

In the meantime, if these madmen attack us again, I see nothing wrong with offing a few Muslim Clerics. Let’s make it a rule of procedure. If an American gets killed anywhere by a Muslim, somewhere in the world a Muslim Cleric gets assassinated. If we run out of Clerics, we can work down the hierarchy. We ought to look very hard at what is going on. The statements of these Muslims are very clear. They mean to annihilate Western Civilization and impose Islam on the world. It is entirely possible that we will have to kill most of them to prevent that.

Right now, they think we are easy. They don’t think we mean business. Of course, we don’t, because we have a leader who is confused and stupid. He is wandering around without a clue of what to do. He is going off in all directions and wasting our very limited resources in the process. We are worse off now than we were before 9-11. It is only a matter of time before they come after us again. We need to quit dinking around, realize this war is more serious than WWII, find someone who can lead us, tighten our belts, and go after these madmen before they are successful.

While we are here, we need to get clear about oil. Many fools in government and elsewhere think we need to suck up to the Saudis because we need the Middle Eastern oil. We do not! There is plenty of crude oil available in the free world to supply our needs for the next hundred years. By then, If we have not solved the global warming problem, the world will not be livable anyway. There are two approaches to solving that problem. One is to find a way to neutralize the destructive byproducts of burning hydrocarbons. The other way is to find a viable alternative to burning hydrocarbons. For that, we need to fund real scientists rather than funding the pipedreams of automotive executives.
