Chili Meatballs:

Here is a spicy taste treat for those who like it hot. |

What you need. |

1 lb. ground round. 1/2 cup rolled oats. 1 egg. 1/2 cup minced
onion. 1 tsp. salt. 1/2 tsp. ground pepper. 1 tsp. chili powder.
1 tsp. cumin. |
In a large bowl, mix the meat, oats, egg, onion, salt, pepper,
chili powder and cumin. Form the mix into balls about golf ball
size. |

3 tbsp corn oil. |
In a 12 inch deep skillet, on high heat, seer the meat balls
in the oil on all sides. |

1 cup red wine. 3 cup canned tomatoes. 1 & 1/2 cups sliced
mushrooms. 1/2 cup chopped onion. 1 cup chopped green pepper.
1/2 jalapeno pepper minced. |
Reduce heat. Add the wine, tomatoes, mushrooms, onion green pepper
and the jalapeno pepper. Simmer for at least 1 hour. |

Serve over hot cooked rice or noodles. |
