Jalapeno Jelly:

Here is a condiment which will please the taste buds of those who like a little bite to their snacks.
What you need. What you do.
Remove blossom ends and stems and chop 1 cup jalapeno peppers with seeds. 1 & 1/2 cups distilled white vinegar. 1 & 1/2 cups apple juice. 1/2 tsp salt. Place all ingredients into a sauce pan and bring to slow boil. Boil for 1 hour.
Strain juice through a kitchen strainer to remove pulp and seed. Return juice to pan.
5 cups sugar. 1 Pkg. powdered pectin. Bring juice to slow boil. Stir in sugar. Stir in pectin. Boil for 1 minute stirring constantly.
Pour juice into hot scalded 1/2 pint jars within 1/2 inch of top. Seal immediately.
