Cream of Mushroom Meatballs:

Here is a quick easy recipe for one of those busy, chilly winter
days. |

What you need. |

1 lb of ground round. 1/3 cup bread crumbs. 1/3 cup minced onion.
1 egg. 1/4 tsp thyme. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp black pepper. |
Combine meat, crumbs, onion, egg, thyme, salt and pepper in a
mixing bowl. Form into 1 & 1/2 inch balls. |

3 tbsp corn oil. |
Heat oil on high in a 12 inch iron skillet. Add meat balls to
sear on all sides. Reduce
heat. |

1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup. 1 cup water. |
Add soup and water. Simmer for 1 hour. Stir and baste meat occasionally.
Serve hot. |

For serving, the sauce may be spooned over the meat and over
rice or mashed potatoes. |
