May 8, 2006:
Child Porn, Worms, and Spam:
These are evils that are taking over our culture. The internet
service provides (ISP's) are accessories before and after the
fact. When they claim, as they often do, that they cannot do
anything about it, they are lying in their teeth. I worked a
large part of my life as a computer systems analyst. I can no
longer do it, but I do know what can and cannot be done. I personally
know two people who have the skills to trace porn, worms, and
spam to their source.
Think of this. When Steve Case bungled and sold more service
than he could provide, he began booting his subscribers off the
web if they stopped surfing for a few minutes. He did that by
monitoring each users activities continuously and blowing them
off if they stopped for a minute to take a pee. Don't tell me
it can't be done. The reason they will not do it is because they
are making money off of these cruddy people. That's the truth.
When they helped the Fascist government of China trace dissenters,
MSN, Yahoo, and Google gave the lie to their can't do argument.
Hypocrites is what they are!
Porter Goss:
He was the chief of the CIA and he was dismissed. King George
asked for his resignation. Why? He was criticized by everyone
so he must have been doing a good job. My guess is he was disrupting
the CIA culture and trying to make it work. He was trying to
make those buffoons accountable. How silly can you get? His boss
told George to fire him before he embarrassed the administration
by doing something useful.
Moussaoui:
I have reached the point where I really don't care what they
do with him. I"m just glad they finally got it done. I am
sick to death of hearing about him every day. I personally think
he is a nutcase who had nothing to do with anything, but I don't
want to hear about it anymore. Put him in prison and let him
rot there. Just don't tell me anymore about him. I don't care!
Morels:
I suspected they would be early this year because of the funky
weather and I was right. I found and picked four dandies yesterday,
May 5. Normally we begin looking for them around Mother's day.
Sliced and sauteed these went great over a plate of spaghetti
with meat sauce. Add a salad and Chianti and you can't buy a
meal better than that in a five star restaurant.
Granholm:
She signed some kind of law that is supposed to deal with cheating
on gasoline pump delivery by gas station owners in Michigan.
That's good. Then she mitigates that with her big blowhard bologna
about sending protest signatures to Bush. What good will that
do? It's a smokescreen waste of time. Just another of her political
fogs.
May 1:
Maybe we will have to change April Fools Day to May first and
call it May Fools Day. The Latinos took the day off from work.
The ever babbling media is wondering who gained or lost by that.
The fact is, no one gained anything because their protest will
have no more long term effect than the million man march. Morever,
the business community did not lose by the protest. The work
they skipped will still be done and paid for in the ensuing days.
The Latinos lost! They lost one days pay each which they can
never recover.
Medicare:
Our President's senior drug program is working so well that we
only have a few hundred other local agencies in Michigan who
have to step in and fill the gap. They are offering several different
programs to save the seniors from starving o death while they
pay for their medicine and try to figure out the federal drug
program. I suspect it's the same in other states.
Gasoline:
We hear all kinds of crap about gas hog SUV's and trucks and
poor government standards. Meanwhile, Ford and GM continue on
their wayward ways making bigger and hoggier rolling bathtubs.
Here is the truth of it. They could build SUV's with a 100 percent
increase in mileage and sell them at half of what they now charge.
I believe that. It is only incompetence which prevents it. I
worked at Ford. My experience indicates that Ford squanders about
75 percent of the money they take in. They pay millions of dollars
to thousands of engineers who don't know how to be engineers
and don't care. They pay even more money to incompetent managers
who cannot even manage their own lives.
Wet-backs:
I still believe the best long term solution is to annex Mexico.
One way or another, it's going to happen anyway. Why not do it
with a plan? Yes, I know we have never had a plan for anything
before. This would be a first for the United States, but it is
possible. I believe that. Then, of course, we will have to annex
Guatemala. Then we would have to annex ..........
Northrop Grumman:
This is a multi-billion dollar corporation. They "earn?"
millions of dollars each year from government contracts. Now
the Senate has passed a bill that will give them a gift of several
millions of dollars. This is money that should have gone to Katrina
relief. The charge for passage of this bill was lead by one of
the biggest blowhards on capital hill, none other than Trent
Lott. A vote against Trent Lott is a vote for better government.
Anyone who voted for this bill should be turned out of office
as soon as possible.
Zelnorm:
These fools have what must be classed as the most gross disgusting
advertisements in the history of Madison Avenue. It must have
required a real effort of stupidity on the part of the company
managers. The last thing I want to see when I am having dinner
is gross naked bellies, so, of course, that is when they run
these ads. They show them during the dinner hour when I am watching
the news. The news is disgusting enough without these ads.
Leaking:
Recently, I had been having a problem with a leaking tool. I
was going and going and going. I even wet my pants a few times.
It was getting very annoying and I finally talked to my doctor
about it. He suggested I try Noseflows. I did try it and it worked
just fine. I stopped leaking almost immediately. The only problem
is, now my nose runs continuously. The girls will still not come
near me.
