August 28, 2006:
The Cell Phone Mystery:
Three Middle Eastern guys were arrested in Caro, Michigan. That's
in the Flint area. They had maybe 600 or maybe 1000 cell phones
depending on which report we heard. The FBI decided these guys
were not terrorists and they had no case against them. A local
hot shot prosecutor decided to one up the Feds and brought local
charges against them for some kind of felonies. As soon as he
did that, the FBI suddenly got back into the act and took the
case away from the local guy. Huh?
I have more questions than answers. Why did the Feds change
their mind? Did they expect these guys would be released on their
say so and the local prosecutor foiled the plan? Are these guys
really federal agents playing some kind of a game? Why are the
Feds mucking around after they dropped out? Are they covering
for these three guys? Will the real FBI please stand up! Ain't
it swell how homeland security is so clear and trustworthy?
The FBI decided to charge them with money laundering and trafficking
in counterfeit materials. Why? Who knows? No one has yet explained
what they were doing with all those telephones. Bail on these
three was set at 30 grand for the lot of them. They managed to
raise it and they are out. The Dearborn, MI Arab community helped
to finance their bail. By the time you read this they will be
in Texas. Think we will ever see them again? Do you think the
feds are smart enough to keep track of them? Duh!
The Confession:
Does anyone believe this wacko who turned up in Thailand really
killed the Ramsey kid? All you need to do is see him to know
he is at least half a load short of just weird. He is totally
wacko. If he is unlucky, the authorities' will believe
him and execute him just to close the case.
Boston:
A plane was allegedly forced to land in Boston because one passenger
got a bit goofy. A plane was taken out of schedule, a couple
of hundred travelers were taken off their schedule, and the media
had a feeding frenzy, all because of one fairly harmless airhead
woman. There was a time when an air-flight-attendant knew how
to deal with a flake single handedly. This overreaction to all
things real and trivial is beginning to cost us a great deal
or real money. One spokesman said the airlines are just jumpy.
Not so! What they are is paranoid along with everyone else in
authority.' We don't need terrorists. We are doing it to
ourselves. And the dance of idiots continues.
Ford:
The stock is down to about 7.5. That is down from 30 the day
before the twin towers attack. I fear Ford is about to go belly
up. Fields has failed to make the big turn around. He is just
another in a long line of incompetent CEOs. He came in with this
big BS philosophy, "Change or Die," but nothing has
changed under his rule. He doesn't get it. He still thinks he
can save Ford by closing plants and laying off workers. He still
thinks he can sell gas-hog SUVs and trucks. He still thinks the
word innovation is equivalent to the act of innovation.
Let's face the truth. If you took the name tags off of all
cars, vans, and trucks you would not be able to tell one brand
from th other. Look at any highway. You will see acres and acres
of bumper to bumper same old same old. Both Ford and GM have
lost their brand-bonded loyal customer base. The brands are no
longer unique. It don't change much from CEO to CEO.
Bush:
He is competing with Hezbollah for the hearts and minds of the
Lebanese people. He is giving them 230 million dollars of our
money to rebuild what Israel wrecked. For Lebanon that's a drop
in the bucket. For us, it's a gross misuse of taxpayer money.
He still doesn't get it. We cannot buy the hearts and minds of
Muslims. Most of them hate us and that will never change so long
as we support Israel. They also have other reasons for hating
us which date back to the Dark Ages. Their racial memory lies
deep and dark, like a festering internal boil. We lack the tools
to lance that boil.
Terrorists:
When we catch these swine, they should not be given spectacular
trials and noble deaths. They should be tried and convicted in
courts closed to the visual media. Then they should be garroted
in a closed cell and dumped in a garbage pit with the media excluded
altogether. Am I vindictive? With these evil monsters, I sure
am. They know what they are doing and they have the same choices
of behavior that I do. I chose decency and they chose evil. It
really is that simple.
Punishment:
It's no wonder people continue to do violent crime including
murder. Even when they are caught, they don't get punished. We
have a couple of Central Michigan University football players
who were revered as star athletes. Role models, right? They went
to a sleazy bar, got drunk, and beat a guy to death. They got
caught and accused of murder two. They plead guilty to a lesser
charge and ended up getting 5 months and 6 months respectively
plus community service. Is that sick? What kind of message is
that sending? What about the dead guy? He is not dead for 5 months.
He is dead forever. Hey, at least he don't have to do community
service. Duh!
Wayland Mississippi:
The town was devastated in the Katerina disaster. There is nothing
there. They have nothing. So, what are the feds doing? They are
telling this destitute community that they must anti up 17.5
million bucks in order to get the federal help that was promised
to them to rebuild. Where are they going to get 17.5 million?
They don't even have an outhouse standing up. At the same time,
the Mad King George can give 230 million to our Muslim enemies
in Lebanon so they can rebuild. This is getting to be too much.
And the dance of idiots continues.
Kids:
All kids need a strong person in their life. They need a rock.
They need someone who can say no and mean it. They need someone
who will be tough and firm, but also dependable. They may say
I hate you, but they will be secretly glad the rock is there,
a rock they cannot move that will be there every day, no matter
what! They need a real full time father. A father who abandons
or betrays his kids is a floating turd. He belongs in a Paris
sewer.
Introverts:
Most professors, particularly those in the scientific community
are extreme introverts. They like to pretend they do not like
people. The truth is, they are afraid to reach out. This makes
them singularly unqualified as teachers, ye they insist on teaching
and universities insist on hiring them to teach. If they are
going to teach, they should take a Carnegie first.
