Photographers:

I did not think it still went on, but it seems people are still paying professional photographers big bucks to click a shutter for them. We saw a case on local news a few days ago. These easy marks from Burton, Michigan that the media wants us to pity paid almost 2 grand to a guy to photograph their wedding. He came and took the photos, sent his marks the proofs, and disappeared. The marks are out about 2 grand and they have no records of the most important event in their lives. They trusted a stranger and got raped.

The shame is, they could have had a friend or a family member do it for them and saved a bundle. Here is the truth. They could have bought a digital camera like mine for less than they paid this conman. They could have had a friend click the shutter and sent the recorded files off to be processed. They could have got all of the prints and enlargements they could want. They would still have the camera and the original files when they were done.

The idea in photography is to take a lot of shots. You can sort them later. That is really the main difference between an amateur and a professional. The professional just takes a lot of shots and throws out the bad ones. Another difference is the professionals will never give the negatives to their victims. They keep them for future gouging. In this age of digital cameras, no one should pay a so called professional to treat them like beggars. Heck, that’s what mothers and mothers-in-law are for.

Holy War:

The Muslims have schools in every Arab country teaching the kids Islam and hatred of the West. Those are the major themes of the schools. They also teach the three R’s to entice the parents to send their kids to the schools. This is incidental to their purpose which is to promote a holy war. King George and other fools keep taking about our allies in the Middle East. People who teach their kids to hate and want to kill us are not our allies. That should be clear even to fools. Every Arab country does this, not just a few. We should begin to understand that the ultimate goal of the Muslim world is to destroy Western civilization.

Five years later, after King George bungled Afghanistan and Iraq we find the Taliban are making a big comeback in Afghanistan. Who is going to stop them? If we had stayed their and built up our presence, we could have stopped them. We could have been a force for stability in the Middle East. Instead, the entire Middle East is a powder keg and the administration keeps insisting that we sit on it. Crap’s sake, it’s going to blow. What we should be doing is drafting Americans and training them so we can deal with the results of the blowup.

Of course, this crap was all started by Pope Urbane II way back in 1095. That is when the first crusade was launched. Its alleged intent was to liberate Jerusalem which was under the control of the Turk Muslims. At that time, a mob of semi civilized thugs rode out of Europe under the flag of Christ and attacked the Muslims. That was the beginning of a holy war which may never end.

Automated Soliciting:

By now everyone has received a large number of those annoying recorded messages from the telephone thugs. “This is a very important call for, fill in the blank.” It does not matter that the phone is on the do not call registry. So far as I can tell, our government makes no effort whatsoever to follow up on the complaints. If I am elected Governor of Michigan, I will ask the Michigan Legislature to pass a law forbidding automated telephone soliciting and I will enforce it. There will be a $1000.00 fine for the first offense and a $5,000.00 fine with two years in jail for the second offense. The third offense will get the three strikes maximum penalty of life in prison. If people prove themselves to be habitual offenders, they should get no mercy.

Religion:

All religions except Islam started out as attempts to understand our spiritual connection. All religions except Islam have ended up as empty ritual. Islam, on the other hand, was nothing more than a power grab by a madman preying on a primitive people. Islam ended up as a tool for creating insanity in men.

More Bodies:

Iraq is overflowing with murdered Muslims, dozens of them in a single day. Muslims murdering Muslims seems to be the game these days. The factions of Islam are splitting the seams of their religion and revealing it for what it is, a monstrously bad joke. What the hell are we still doing there? Let’s get out and let them have at it! Better these savages should kill each other than plot to attack us.

Could it be?

Gas prices came down faster than they went up. Did the oil cartel in America manipulate the price of gas to make the Republicrumbs, their favorite party, look good for the election? Heck, they wouldn’t do that, would they? Hmmmm!

It’s Such Fun:

George is for torturing prisoners to get information. Heck, it’s so much fun. That old party pooper McCain is against it, just because he was on the other side of it once. Goodness, what a sissy. Do you suppose George would feel differently if he had been in McCain’s place? Nah! He’s a tough Texan, Isn’t he? Most crazy people are tough. They don’t know any better.

Hey, King George! Think about this. Whatever you do to those prisoners, will someday be done to our kids in spades when they are captured. Sooner or later, some of our kids will be captured. It’s inevitable when we send soldiers out that some of them will be captured. Stick with the Geneva Conventions you fool. Stay within international law. For once in your life, try to be decent!

Hunker Down:

Ford has the answer. Instead of facing the real problem directly, duck, weave, and hunker down. The real problem is a failure to produce a unique product. Rather than face that as a management failure, it’s easier to offer buyouts to everyone. Close plants and cut costs. Accept a diminished share of the world market. Stay alive by giving in, by going belly up for Toyota. Don’t fight it. Fields says change or die. He should have added, change and die a little bit every day.

This is the way the world ends

This is the way the world ends

This is the way the world ends

Not with a bang but a whimper.

T. S. Elliot.
