to the Weekly Notes 2008 Archives The Car: What I want for myself is a 35 Ford Coupé with a 7.5-liter emission free engine, and all of the modern improvements inside and under the hood. I just want the bodylines of a 35 Ford from the outside. It was a very sweet looking car. Take a look below. Is that too much too ask? Why: Why do I write and especially why do I write about the bad things that happen to me? I write, because it’s what I do. It is something I can offer to the world. It is not for me to decide if it has any value. That is the task of the reader. I write about the bad things for two reasons. One is I want others to know and be warned about the predators who ooze through our culture. The equally important thing is it helps me to make some kind of closer on the emotional and financial injuries I have suffered from these predators and from myself. The French Trader: This guy is accused of loosing a big bundle of Euros in gambling trades. I don’t think so. It just doesn’t wash. I think he is the fall guy who is being framed by the bigshot managers of the firm. It is a classic case of bad management. They just lost a big bunch of money through bad management. How could this low level trader hade done it? Everything he did was monitored at several levels. If he did it and they did not catch him, it must be because they did not want to catch him. Fishy, very fishy! Risk: A bunch of skiers went off the normal trails to ski in high-risk areas. They said the thrill was worth the risk. Now they are dead. Should I be sad? If I were going to risk my life, it would be for something more important than a quick cheap rush, something with community value. Life: Life is a tragedy. Each of us experiences a large amount of pain suffering and grief along the way. Of course, it does not end well either. Therefore, if you cannot do some useful and interesting things along the way and enjoy doing them, it ain’t worth the bother. Mortgage scandal: This entire thing is a history of criminal activity with
the active collusion of our federal government at all levels. This reveals
the entire rotten structure of Wall Street, the mortgage industry, corporate Whitewash: “Sixty Minutes” interviewed the guy who
supposedly interviewed and broke Saddam Hussein. This person was an FBI man
with an Arab background. According to this version, George Bush is supposedly
exonerated for the invasion of Hussein was a much bigger threat to Glass House: Ford has what the locals call the Glass House. It is the
world headquarters of Ford. Every corporation has its own equivalent of
Ford’s Glass House. It is the place where fools conspire against the
workers and the American public. Their goal is to maximized income without
consideration for ethics or human decency. Right now, they are succeeding and
Obama and Hillary: If Obama is able to win the primary against the entrenched Dumbocratic machine, it will be a real coup for him. The media is already speculating that, in any case, it should be an Obama/Hillary ticket. If Obama made it and actually chose Hillary, he would be betraying all of the people who supported him and voted for him. Trade Names and Marks: There was a time when a logo on a product meant something.
A person could know a certain group of people stood behind the product. Now
the logo does not mean crap. These outfits no longer create new products. You
cannot tell where a product was made by looking at the label or the logo.
More and more of the products are made in Back
