to the Weekly Notes 2008 Archives Out of It: I have another short
“Weekly Notes” this time. The last time I posted was March 10. At
that time, I thought I was ill and told you so. I did not realize how bad off
I was. I have been completely out of it for two weeks. I will be discussing this
in “William’s Corner” where I will begin a new and
different column. Meanwhile, I will try to get back to a more inclusive
“Weekly Notes.” Our Capital: I sincerely believe the
Capital of the The Economy: Everybody is babbling
about the economic situation. They keep on babbling about an upturn as though
there were some kind of magic coming. They keep talking about new industry
and newer better autos as though a few more gadgets could fix things up. It’s all a pipe dream. Our economy will not get
better until we solve the energy problem. We are beyond the point where
patches and quick fixes will help. We need a whole
new source of cheap energy. Where is it? Hillary: I cannot believe that I
once believed she was a reasonable candidate. She has lost and she will not
face it. In Our Government: It is inherently evil.
They give fat pensions to fat lazy assed senators and congressmen
after one term of alleged service. What does a wounded and desperately
dysfunctional war veteran get? He gets shit and shoved in it by our great army
blundering brass generals. No pension at all. No help at all. It stinks! It really stinks. The Mad King: George strikes again.
