to the Weekly Notes 2008 Archives Fences: One of our local
sheriffs was whining for the media. It was about the recent rash of thefts by
crumb bags who cut catalytic converters off of cars and sell them for the
platinum. This idiot sheriff claims he needs a new law to go after the fences
who buy them. That is pure nonsense. This fool does not know his job or the
law. We have had laws to deal with people who deal in stolen property for
decades. The proper charge is accessory after the fact. If the sheriff does
not know that, he should be removed from office by the state’s attorney
general. Fat chance! They are both Republicrumbs. Beautiful People: The question arises, how
many beautiful people are there? Another question is why are there so many
ugly people? I could think of no answer, but Minerva provided the answer. She
said beauty has nothing to do with appearance. Everyone can be beautiful. It
is a tragedy that more people are not. It is our thoughts and mindset that
make us beautiful or ugly. That is what she told me. Goldberg: She is beginning to look
like the only choice. Obama is now making overtures to the evangelical
fascists. He would do better to court satin. In addition he is still
advocating bio-fuel. I suspect that word “bio-fuel” is nothing
more than a synonym for the completely discredited ethanol. If so, Obama is
really out of touch with reality. Whoopi is looking better and better. Her
reality is at least humorous. Jesse Helms died today
at age 86. A loss to The I think they have gone
nuts. Too many medical people have gone nuts. They do not diagnose human
problems or try to heal anymore. They are in too much of a hurry so they just
try to mask the symptoms with drugs. This latest one is a bit much. Now these
fools want to beginning giving statins to kids over eight years old if they
have high cholesterol. It’s madness. You can look at those kids and see
they are obese. Statins will not heal that. They will simply mask the bad
behavior until the kids die as a result of it. Dr. Tim with ABC news agrees
with the boneheads. Duh! When I was a kid, there
were only two fat kids that I knew. They were both teased mercilessly. Most of
us we not fat, we were in good shape because we did physical things. Also, a
big red pop or orange was a real treat. We did not swill coke or any pop all
day long. We had no allowance. We got about one pop per week, we bought it
with our own earned nickel, and we were pleased with it and savored it.
Potato chips and burgers were not a normal part of our diet. In most houses,
any junk foods would be seen, if at all, on holidays. That’s all there
is too it. Take that crap away from the kids and most of these imagined
problems will disappear with the crap. Organic: That is the most
overused and dishonestly used word in the English language at this time. Why
not? The peddlers who use it know it is a soft work. It is so soft it can
mean anything we want it to mean. The jerks who buy into it are fools. I
admit, I have no sympathy for these dupes who are willing to pay extra for
that label. They are the same people who drink bottled water believing it is
a healthier choice than tap water. What fools these mortals be! The cops there are
selling confiscated property on E-bay. This is property they took from people
and kept. I wonder if they made any attempt to return it to the people they
took it from, the owners. What do you think? Troop Withdrawal: Maliki has forgotten his
role as a puppet. He is feeling is oats and making noises. Even he is asking
for a timetable for troop withdrawal. Only Bush and McCain disagree with him
now. I couldn’t Believe
it: On ABC news I saw a
reporter in Federal Spying: The Senate has just
passed a bill that will give more power to the president’s Gestapo.
This bill will have the force of law in making communications companies to
turn over information about their customers to the feds. Sick, very sick! Verizon: I am not the only victim
of that predatory empire. A friend recently told me about how his wife was
tricked into signing a two-year contract with them. All she wanted to do was
change their phone from his name to her name. They handed her a paper too
sign and she later discovered she had signed a two-year contract with those
bums. They are getting as evil as Earthlink. Another First: We saw the new trend on
the news recently. We saw women playing football. It seems they have their
own league with uniforms and pro football rules, the whole shot. We
discovered that some of them are mothers and homemakers. These have to be
dumb broads in the extreme. These dumb broads want to do the same dumb things
that dumb men do. Dumb de dumb, dumb, dumb! Dave Bing: He is an ex basketball
player and a very successful businessman in A Puzzle: Who was John Muir? Why
is he honored? Back
