January 20, 2003:
Wrong Question:
I asked Mrs. Gaffer if she would rather be the hammer, the anvil,
or the nail.
Mrs. Gaffer replied that she would rather be the Blacksmith.
My gaster was flabbered.
It seems I did what I often accuse others of.
I did not stand far enough back to see the gestalt, and I asked
a frivolous question.
Indeed, why be an object at all when one can be a doer?
The Gaffer:
The New Governor of Michigan:
Now I find that Granholm in one of her first acts as governor
of Michigan has cut funding to all elementary education in Michigan.
It seems she is going to use our kids as pawns in her two bit
political games. Okay! Then she ain't worth a good spit in the
gutter. She has been in office just a few days and I already
deeply regret that I voted for her. Next time I will vote Libertarian.
W. E. Steinman:
We Are All One:
The ego sees the world as separate objects. The inner soul-self
sees the world as souls. So long as we operate out of our ego,
we can only manipulate objects. We can only be with people when
we come out of our own soul, not out of our ego. Thus, to be
real, we must center. This is not about giving lip service. It
is about really being centered and seeing others as extensions
of ourselves; part of the whole; part of the same entity.
Evie:
February 15, 2003 ABC News:
The president has interfered in the U of M discrimination suit.
He had the gall to advise the supreme court on the issue.
He is deliberately and dishonestly attempting to influence the
supreme court.
He is totally unqualified to render advise on that issue.
He knows nothing of the Constitution.
His cronies have violated it several times already.
He is not a jurist.
He has no business interfering in that.
