March 1, 2004:
Ancient War:
Most Americans do not even realize that we are caught in an ancient
war as old as the Jewish Arab war. This is the war between Christianity
and Islam. It has been going on since Christ was crucified. It
is really just an additional facet of the Jewish Arab war. The
Muslims are not deceived. They realize that Christianity is just
another branch of the same tree. The basic philosophy is the
same. The God is the same. The tradition is the same.
Patriot Missiles:
The truth is out. The little missile that said it could, didn't.
Instead of killing the enemy, it is killing our people. Does
anyone remember the Harrier, the vertical takeoff aircraft? That
was another fraud by the United States military command, pretending
something worked that did not work. It too cost several lives
and billions of bucks before they quit their lies. In both cases,
the high command had so much money and prestige invested in an
error that they were willing to let our soldiers die to cover
up the fraud. Nothing has changed since then. These commanders
are no different in character than Janklow.
Haiti:
We did it. We interfered in the business of a foreign nation.
We installed Jean-Bertrand Aristide in 1994 as our man. He lost
control. Now a major catastrophe is coming down. Many people
have been murdered by rebels. Terror reigns. Where will it end?
Who knows. We have sent in troops to protect our embassy. Now
Bush is sending in Marines as peace keepers. Does that sound
familiar? What next? Will king George see it as an opportunity
to win another easy military victory and entice the rabble to
vote for him?
Same Sex:
It seems, no one has noticed that these "gay" people
are in an extreme minority. The media people show us these lines
of people waiting to get married. They try to imply that this
is a huge issue fo many people. Can't anyone see that it is only
a few hundred people out of a population of a few hundred million?
It is a fringe issue not deserving of the attention it is getting.
It really doesn't matter to most of us, what these people do
in their personal lives.
Of course the media blitz plays right into the administration's
hand. George was desperate for an issue. He did not have a leg
to stand on. Now the media fools have given him an issue. Never
mind that it is irrelevant to any of the real issues. The media
will help George to hype it up. With his amendment nonsense,
he may get enough votes that he won't have to steal Florida this
time. To divert the resources of the nation into this nonsense
at this time is unconscionable.
The sad thing is, the democratic candidates are too dull minded
to notice that it is a non-issue. They are also playing into
it and making statements about it. This is the same kind of nonsense
that happened in the last election when the real issues were
ignored and fringe issues derailed the process. One of them should
say, "That's a minority issue. It won't matter at all if
we resolve that and fail to defend America against terrorism.
I would like to address the more important issue, what we should
be doing to defend America.
Again the news is so distressing that I chose to make up some
of my own wishitwas and laughitoff news items:
The Palestine/Berlin Wall:
The media has got wind of a new secret deal about to be offered
to his Arab neighbors by Sharon. The story is, he really likes
these folks and wants to get along. He will agree to take down
the wall if they will only vow to eat Kosher for the rest of
their lives. Asked Arafat, "Wherever will we find enough
matzos?"
Nader:
He was overheard to say, "It's not true that I like to bang
my head against a wall. It's just that the walls keep getting
in my way. This candidacy is like a contest with me. I am determined
to break Stassen's record of successive failures."
Amendment:
The administration floated a trial balloon last week. George
wanted to find out if the people would favor a constitutional
amendment to define religion as the worship of King George and
Jerry Falwell. People would be required to make yearly public
vows of faith and fealty just as the Romans did for their emperors.
There would with appropriate penalties for those who refused
to do it.
Passion:
In a surprise move Sharon agreed to allow the movie to be shown
in Palestinian theaters. "It may be anti-Semitic,"
he agreed, "but it will give these Arabs and idea of what
they are up against."
