March 22, 2004:
Obesity:
The damned do-gooders are at it again. They are trying to force
restaurants to stop serving tasty food. Because a lot of A-holes
overeat and get hog fat, these buffoons want to blame the food
industry. They are threatening lawsuits to make them change.
So the people who go out to treat themselves once in a while
will have more trouble finding decent well prepared rich food.
It's insane. It won't have any effect on the A-holes at all.
They will continue to eat garbage like the swine they are and
get hog fat. I think we need a class action lawsuit against the
do-gooders for limiting our lifestyle choices. What ever happened
to personal responsibility?
Three Strikes:
California has a three strikes law. The essence of it is, if
a person has already committed two felonies and is convicted
of a third, he gets a real long sentence. I don't know how long
for sure, but I think it's life. It's very severe, but is based
on the concept of incorrigibility. If they can't be deterred
from crime, we must make sure they don't have the opportunity
to commit crimes. It works. Crime in California has decreased.
Now a whole bunch of bleeding hearts are complaining about
this law. They say it's unjust. They use the last conviction
of a handful of these habitual offenders as their examples. The
say things like, "But he only stole a bicycle and he got
life for that." It's nonsense, of course. These bleeding
hearts want us to look at the last crime and ignore the B&E
and the grand theft auto that were previously committed by this
felon.
It's crap! If this guy had only stolen a bicycle and committed
no other crime, the law would not apply. We cannot overlook the
fact that this guy is incorrigible. That's the whole point of
the law. It's not what he did, but that he won't stop doing it.
The bleeding hearts have had their day. Their well intended generosity
has failed in application. Going easy on felons causes more felonies.
Taking habitual felons out of circulation reduces felonies. It's
as simple as that.
Beyond Redemption:
The local police busted a pit bull gambling operation recently.
It was awful to see the poor dogs on TV. They were scarred and
bleeding. They were also dangerous, though that was not apparent
from the pictures. The dogs had to be put down, of course. No
kind person would want to keep a dog that had been trained as
those had. I have thought up a solution to discourage this kind
of evil.
I think we should have a ten foot diameter ten foot deep pit
with a sand floor. We could take two of these pit bull gambling
operators, give them sharp rocks and drop them naked into this
pit. To make sure they fought we could have a high voltage probe
that could be used by the handler to poke these guys in the genitals
until one tried to kill the other one just to stop the probe.
Only one would come out alive, but he would have to fight again
as soon as he was functional. We could even televise it and let
people place bets. Michigan government would love it. It would
be more lucrative than the lotto.
President:
If I were going to pick someone to run for and become president,
who would I pick? I would like someone with national stature
who has not dirtied themselves in politics. I think it's impossible!
There is no one like that in America.
Calias:
Look at me! I can do it again! Duh!
Ohio:
McCoy was apprehended in Los Vegas. It seems Hatfield is still
at large. It is rumored that he is hiding out in Virginia.
A Gun:
March 17, 2004. In Flint a four year old kid was caught with
a gun on a school bus. He was expelled from special preschool.
So far as we know, the adult who gave him the gun is walking
free. No charges were filed against him. If we don't have a law
to cover that, we are insane. Day after day in Flint, kids are
caught with guns. Day after day, nothing is done to or about
the adults who allowed them to get the guns. Even in the Kala
Rowland murder case the guy who provided the gun was not charged.
He was an accessory before the fact, but he went free. Don't
you think an accessory before the fact should be treated under
law as though they did the actual crime? I do! The crime could
not have happened without their participation. The Genesee County
prosecutor is mad.
